Hi Hoyas,
Several large consulting firms have upcoming application due dates–with some having two or three application dates for the same program. Theoretically, the earlier or later application dates start identical processes so it wouldn’t matter which you apply to. In reality, though, it is generally better to submit your application earlier rather than later. Firms have a finite number of open internship positions. Usually, there are a fixed total number of positions to be filled regardless of the application date (rather than only 50% of positions being open at a time). That means that if there happens to be a lot of qualified candidates that apply by the earlier date, most of the positions may be filled before you can apply for the later date. That being said, you will only be able to apply to either the earlier or the later date. So only apply earlier if you’re able to submit a strong application. If you won’t be able to dedicate sufficient time to prepare your application for the earlier date, it’s better to wait for the later date.

- Earlier Date: Choose to apply by either July 14th or August 23rd

- Sophomore Summer Business Analyst internship (rising Sophomores who self-identify as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx and/or other members of Indigenous groups native to North America; graduating Dec 2024 – August 2025)
- Apply by September 8, 2022
- Summer Business Analyst (rising Juniors; graduating Dec 2023 – June 2024)
- Earlier Date: Apply by July 7th OR
- Later Date: Apply by August 11th
- Business Analyst Full-Time (rising Seniors; graduating Dec 2022 to June 2023)
- Apply by July 7th
- Associate Consultant Intern (rising Juniors; graduating Dec 2023 – June 2024)
- Earlier Date: Apply by July 11th OR
- Middle Date: Apply by August 8th OR
- Later Date: Apply by September 15th
- Associate Consultant Full-time (rising Seniors; graduating Dec 2022 – June 2023)
- Earlier Date: Apply by July 11th OR
