April 7, 2021 – Upcoming Events, Opportunities & Resources

Welcome back from spring break!  I hope you had the time and space to binge on new or old TV series over the break.  If you like psychological thrillers, definitely check out “Behind Her Eyes (new window).” I still get goosebumps when I think about the show (admittedly, I am a scaredy cat!).  I literally could not sleep after the last episode.
Now that you are back, I recommend you binge on a different kind of entertainment – health and science career chats and panels.  Perhaps you have been experiencing major FOMO upon missing some of the events this semester.  Fear not!  Many, though not all, of our past workshops and panels have been recorded.  Watch this 2-minute trailer (new window) on the Career Pathways summer seminar where three alums working in the health industry at BD, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and the U.S. House of Representatives share their career journeys and advice.
We now have a health and science industry playlist on YouTube (new window) where you can find recordings of past events. The following career chats and panels featuring alumni have been recorded for your viewing pleasure.

  • Healthcare Consulting: What is it? How do I stand out when applying?
  • Careers at the Intersection of Business and Healthcare
  • Careers in Healthcare Management, Policy, and Tech
  • Global Public Health Careers
  • Hoyas for Others – Diversity in Healthcare
  • Nurse Recruiters Tell All, Nursing Specialties Panel
  • Alum Talk: Gap Year Opportunities and Medical School
  • Alum Talk: CEO of HealthTech company, GetWellNetwork

All the best,
