February 17, 2021 – Upcoming Events, Opportunities & Resources

Nursing students, we have a big event tonight with six nurses sharing their nursing specialty with you.  These nurses will share what brought them to their specialty and what they enjoy most and least about it. To learn more about nursing specialties, Johnson & Johnson provides information on 100+ specialties including the typical clinical specialties but also specialties focused on the community, management, and more. This page is located on my nursing industry exploration page along with many other resources.  Be sure to check out the entire page when you have more time.  In the meantime, here are a few resources to highlight now that your recruiting season has become more active.

To all health & science-interested students – don’t forget about the Government, Nonprofit, and Education Career Fair on Friday!  There are a ton of organizations in the health and science industry, and since my last newsletter, USAID and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid have registered to attend.

All the best,
Jodi Schneiderman
