The Georgetown Entertainment & Media Alliance (GEMA) and the Cawley Career Education Center collaborate every year to put on the GEMA Externship Program for undergraduate seniors and others enrolled in graduate programs at Georgetown's main campus and the School for Continuing Studies. MBA students interested in GEMA Externship should contact Eric Young (email@example.com) in the MBA Career Center before applying. The externship takes you to meet experienced professionals in the fields of entertainment and media to give you a first-hand look at day-to-day operations in the industry.
The externships take place every year during spring break in Los Angeles and New York City. The application deadline for the spring 2019 GEMA externship is 12 p.m. EST (noon) on November 2, 2018. Your application must include:
- the GEMA externship application form (PDF)
- Cover letter that demonstrates your interest in the entertainment and media industry (drawing on any academic,co-curricular, work or other experiences you may have) and your long-term career goals. How may the GEMA externship experience help you to achieve those goals?
