Don’t Let Your RSVP be a Soft Maybe

As I enter my eighth year at Cawley, I have observed a number of things about event attendance, and I think I am ready to posit the following:

For students, an RSVP is more of a soft maybe than a confirmation.

Y’all.

Like Teddy, I can’t plan for 42 maybes.

So let’s start fresh.  In future, be mindful that an RSVP is not a signal of interest; it is a commitment to attend. In other words, let your yes mean yes, and your no mean no.

An accurate projection of the number of students at an event helps both our employers/alumni and fellow Hoyas. And it really helps me.

Thanks folks!
