How Referring Employers Can Help You
Referring employers to the career center can allow us to support you in hosting alumni panels, employer events, and much more.
Long-term Relationship Building
Your referral enables the career center to develop new employer relationships or strengthen existing ones.
Student Access to Opportunities
Employers are asked to create an account in Handshake, our online career management tool. In doing so, students and alumni can gain access to company information, job postings, internships, employer events, and connect with students who have worked with that employer before.
By referring an employer, we are able to use the employer data in Handshake to verify the employer and collect valuable information that allows us to attract new employers to the university and offer more career opportunities to our students.
