November 30, 2022 – Upcoming Events, Opportunities & Resources
Welcome back from break, Hoyas! While you have been away, I have been reading those emails that I never get to and finding new resources to share with you. Some of the resources I have been adding to my health and science industry pages. Did you know these exist? See here for six guides. For today, my focus is on job search sites beyond Handshake, LinkedIn, indeed, and usajobs.gov. Of course, I recommend your job and internship search strategies go beyond looking at posting sites to include targeting companies of interest and networking.
- Allied Health: Vivian, CapYear, and alliedhealthcareers.com
- Pharma, Biotech, and Medical Devices: biotech-careers (internships), biologyjobs.com (FT jobs), and biospace.com
- Public and Global Health: Idealist, Devex, Global Health Council, Global Health Jobs, Public Health Jobs, PublicHealthCareers.org and 80,000 hours
- Mental and Behavioral Health: Idealist, Vivian, and Georgetown’s Psychology Dept
- Nursing: Liquid Compass, Health eCareers Network, and Vivian
- Research: Pathwaystoscience, ORISE, and Higheredjobs
If you know of a great site, please share it with me!
You are also welcome to meet with me to discuss your interests and go over job and internship search strategies at any point. I am here to support you!
All the best,
