Hello Hoyas!
The Annual Career Fair is just over a week away, taking place on Friday, September 8, 1-4pm. Employers in the health and science industry that have registered include AARP, Ally Behavior Center, BD, Berkley Research Group, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Charles River Associates, Coho Climate Advisors, Deloitte, Epic, FTI Consulting, LAYC, Mary’s Center, Peace Corps, United Health Group, and Vanda Pharmaceuticals.
So, how do you get prepared? Here are some resources to help you.
- Attend a drop-in to ask a question or practice your elevator pitch! Drop-ins are open and available for all class years. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 1-3pm, in person. On Friday, drop-ins are virtual from 10-12pm

- Are you feeling uncertain about what to ask recruiters after you give your 30-second elevator pitch? The article below offers a great sampling of questions to consider.

P.S. Appointments are available for sophomores through seniors, and first year students will have access Monday, Oct 2. Go to the “Career Center” in Handshake to schedule an appointment.
