LETTER FROM THE ADVISOR:
Dear students,
We hope you are having a great semester so far.
Please see the latest announcements and opportunities below.
Please note we will also be posting pre-health related events as they are communicated to us via our Events page on the website: https://premed.georgetown.edu/events/ . This page is also linked in Canvas under ‘Events’.
Any student organizations that would like to submit an event to our office, please see the event submission link on the bottom of the Events page. This will help us keep track of events and they will not get lost in our inboxes. There are a number of great events coming up soon, including a Lab Research Fair on November 5th organized by Psi Chi .
As a reminder, First Years and Sophomores: please watch workshops for your year, linked on Canvas (if you haven’t already). We are keeping track of this attendance and it allows you to see the MD and DO pages in Canvas. Updated Powerpoints will shortly be posted for all workshops we have presented this semester so far.
Note to predental students: only one person unfortunately attended the DAT workshop yesterday, so we didn’t do the presentation, however I will post the updated slides for the workshop on the website. Let me know if you would like to discuss the DAT with me, or have any questions.
-Lucy
All the best,
Mary Beth Connell, MD and Lucy Cherner
