What’s one tip for making a great first impression?

Remember that first impressions are just first impressions, and that relationships are built over time—don’t sweat the small stuff.

What would you say to a student who’s nervous about attending?

Career fair reps are traveling to you to share their company and their work with you. They’re not here to evaluate and judge you, and it’s not an interview.

What’s something students can gain or learn from talking with recruiters, even if they aren’t actively job searching?

Good career fair reps can speak to the values of their organization, and have a pulse on what’s new and changing in their industries.

What’s one thing you’re looking forward to at this year’s career fair?

Epic representatives love sharing with students their favorite things about our hometown of Madison, Wisconsin.

What’s something you wish every student knew before introducing themselves?

Career fair reps won’t remember what you’re wearing, but your feet will remember you wearing those too-stiff shoes. Be comfortable, and be yourself. (The Epic reps will be in jeans!)
