Business – Upcoming Events, Opportunities and Resources

Hey Hoyas!

I hope you got some rest this past weekend. One thing to keep in mind: A number of large banks offer programming for underclassmen with backgrounds that are underrepresented in the banking industry. For instance, Morgan Stanley came to campus last week to promote their Early Insights program. This Wednesday, Mizuho will promote their Sophomore Women’s program; and in a few weeks, Barclays will discuss their Discovery Program. These are great opportunities to get an early feel of what a career in banking can look like.

Whether you’re a 1st year or a senior, the Cawley Center is holding a number of great workshops this week to prepare you for your career journey: Networking today, Job/internship search Thursday, and Resumes & Cover letters Friday. And if you can’t make a session interesting to you, no need to worry. You can come discuss your internship search or networking questions with our Business Peer Advising team at Business Office Hours every Friday afternoon.
