Hi! My name is Whitney Sprung (she/her/hers), and I’m a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in computer science with minors in math and classical studies. I love studying computer science and classical studies in tandem because they offer two distinct yet complementary ways of understanding human nature and problem-solving: one through algorithms and logic, the other through the timeless narratives and complexities of the human experience. On campus, I am involved in Georgetown Ventures, Hoya Developers, and recently retired from my role as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant. Outside of the classroom, I love to try new workout classes and restaurants around Georgetown. I am excited to get started!
