Cawley Insider: Free LinkedIn Headshots This Week!
October 31, 2021 – Upcoming Events, Opportunities & Resources
Happy Halloween!
Not only is spooky season here, but it’s about now when things start to get challenging. Exams and papers are piling up, the weather’s getting cooler, and it’s just getting, well, real. While we can’t change the weather, exam dates, or paper deadlines, we’re here to support you with all the mumbo-jumbo that comes with applying to internships/jobs, editing resumes, prepping for interviews, and more!
A couple things to keep in mind for this coming week:
1) Sign up for our industry newsletters! In addition to our general newsletter, we produce several industry newsletters to share information, events and opportunities about the industries you are interested in. To subscribe or update your subscription preferences, visit this page for more information.
2) Free headshots for LinkedIn this week! Up your LinkedIn profile, and get a free professional headshot this coming Friday, November 5 from 1-2:30pm in the Cawley Career Education Center (we’re on the 4th floor right across from the University bookstore). First come, first served and no RSVP needed.
As always, feel free to drop by in-person Monday to Friday, 1-3pm (we’re in the Leavey Center across from the bookstore) or virtually Tuesday & Thursday, 10-11am and 7-8pm. If these times don’t work for you, you can schedule an appointment with a staff member. If you have any trouble or need to reschedule/cancel an appointment, drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
